Friendship camp 8898 was well represented at the 20th district con vention of the Royal Neighbors of America, held May ( at Ashland. Thirty-three members from Klam ath Falls were present. Special guests were introduced by the district oracle. Fern Baraum, and Included Supreme Manager Edna Walch, Kansas City, Kas.; Slate Supervisor Mas K. Logan, Portland, and District Deputy Elsa Walker, Medford. Reports from various camps in the district were heard, and Frances Killlan, juvenile director from Klamath Falls, reported on juvenile activities here. Next year's district convention will be held at Medford. A large crowd attended a ban quet served at 6:30 in the evening. A class of 31 candidates from va rious lodges was initiated. Special drills were given by the Ashland, Medford and Klamath Falls drill teams. Dinner Host HENLEY William Cheyne was host at dinner at the Pelican cafe Sunday honoring his mother. Mrs. Jess Johnson, on Mother's Day. Guests were Mr. and Mrs. Jess Johnson, Mr. and Mrs. Leland Cheyne and Jeffery, and Mr, and Mrs. Carl Schubert.
