The Canadians did the ladder in reverse, falling from fifth to the cellar. After taking Sunday's opener. 7-2, Salem blanked the Caps 2-0 on Cal Mclrvin's three-hit pitching. May 10 The Henley Hornets blanketed the Southern Oregon class B track tourney at Ashland Saturday and qualified for representation in the state B meet at Corvallis next week-end in eight events and the relay. Medford series comes back to Gams stadium for renewal. The tilt is scheduled for 8 p. m. under the floodlights. The Gems topped the Dodgers 10-1 here Saturday night, than yes terday afternoon at Medford's Fair grounds park bested the Dodgers 15- 12 In a slugfest Klamath has won three of the four games in the six date home and home series which ends over the hill tomorrow night Saturday night's game was an other chilly one but featured the fine elbowing of Joe Nicholas, a boy with fair speed, a good curve and almost perfect control. Nicholas put a third strike by 15 Dodgers, allowed only two walks and six hits. The Gems made hay off the slants ol Dick Lowe, getting nine runs in the first four innings. Lefthander Dick Pera relieved Lowe in the fourth and held the Klamath hitters in check fairly well the rest of the way. BASES CLEANED A triple with the bases loaded by Joe Anselmo was the blow that sent Lowe back to the locker room, Lit tle Nicholas helped himself to a triple and a single at the plate. Sunday's game, first afternoon scrap of the season, saw John Lope man get a rough going over from the Dodgers in the first three in nings but stick It out and come out winner.
