As leaders tried to work out a government program, Jewish and Arab forces continued fighting which has gone on since last fall. Jewish forces appeared to be in control of a 20-mile stretch of high way in the Judean hills. It is along this Tel Aviv-Jerusalem road that Arabs have blasted Jewish food con voys bound for hungry Jerusalem. The British army said a shipload of Jewish refugees without visas had been Intercepted by the navy in Palestine coastal waters.
