The play is the second of a series Ad Club To Visit Crater Lake Park The Oregon Ad club, some 37 men on tour of Uie state, will visit Crater Lake National park Wednesday and then will meet for a luncheon with directors of Uie Klamath County chamber of commerce at Uie Fort Klamath hotel. E. O. Younger of McMinnville Is in charge of arrangements of the tour which is hitting the scenic spots of the state. If the weather is good a program of entertainment and speakers will be staged at the lake. Indians Open Dam Fight YAKIMA, April 13 The Yak ima and Ne Perce Indian tribes open their battle In federal court today to block construction of Mc Nary dam. Federal Judge Sam M. Driver was to begin a hearing of their suit shortly after opening U. S. district court sessions here at 10 a. m. The tribes seek an Injunction re straining the government from pro ceeding wllh construction of the dam on the Columbia river. They won the right to prosecute their suit on Jan. 31 when Judge Driver, silting in Spokane, denied a gov ernment motion to dismiss the case I ine civil nocaet oi tins lerm or coun nas oeen so arranged mat the hearing may continue all week Kenneth R. L. Simmons of Billings. Mont., and Edwin C. Davis are counsel for the plaintiffs. Simmons is a former counsel for the depart ment of the Interior. The basis of the tribal suit is the contention that construction of Mc Nary dam would violate a fishing rights treaty which was signed June : 9 1855. at Walla Walla. Klamath Students Attend Conference UNIVERSITY OF OREGON, April 13 (Special) Jim Owens and Jaol Kcruow wera delegates from Khun ath Union high school to the first annual conference of Oregon High School International Relation leagues. The conference was held April and 10 on the University of Oregon campus. They were arcom pained by Herbert D. C'nrlln who was a niculty advisor to the high school students.
