retired Wednesday after 33 years
of continuous service. He Is L. D.
Oood. 85 of SM8 Denver street.
Good has over 40 years of rail

In recognition of this 33 years of
accident-free service, without In

plaiiue Wednesday afternoon at a
farewell partv held at the round
house In his honor.

kind to be presented to an employe
of the company. The presentation
was made by S. C. Selby, round

All of Oood's time with the rail
road has been spent In his area In
the Shxsta dlvison including Duns
mulr. Ashland, Oerber and Klam
ath Falls.

present a program over KFJI. On
April 22, the third grade rooms will
present an Oregon history program
at the same time, also over KFJI.
Harold Ashley was the speaker at
the meeting. He explained the dis
tribution and the necessity of taxa
tion. The Shasta Study club will
meet April 7, at 1:30 p. m. In the
teachers room at school. Mrs. Plsn
back will present the topic at this
meeting. These meetings have been
very Interesting and Informative.
Anyone who wishes to attend will be
very welcome.

and see their Indian exhibit. Since
the next regular meeting date will
be during the convention. It was
agreed to postpone the meeting one
week to May 5. After the meeting,
refreshments were served in the
cafeteria by the fourth grade room

to make such agreements with the

Lutheran church, devoted Easter
Sunday afternoon to patients at the
Klamath county Infirmary and hos
pital. The youngsters presented each In

egg. Later the group went to the
hospital where five patients were
