Comparative figures, board feet: Last Week Previous Week Orders 62.529.000 62.360.000 Shipment 65,334.000 62,823.000 Production 54,416,000 57,964,000 WHEAT LEADS GRAIN SLUMP CHICAGO, March 6 (TV-Wheat led a general downturn in grains today. More snow In the Southwest and failure of the government to announce purchases of flour brought about the selling. Corn and oats slumped in sympathy with the bread grain. In Washington, the agriculture department said wires of acceptance of flour offers would not be sent to mills until after the close Monday. Cash corn was offered a little more freely by the country. Spot market prices of both corn and oats were lower. A loading cereal Inter est withdrew from the cash oats market. Wheat closed to 5 cents lower, May 3.44'i-.44. corn was 3"- lower. May $2.24Vi-2.24. oats were 1 lower to 1 cent higher, May 11.14 !. Only the lightly traded March oats contract advanced. Soybeans fell the 8 cents dally limit, March $3.66.
