Jim. 15 Ml An easier trend In grains ended abruptly on the board of trade today when the weather bureau forecast a severe cold wave for the Midwest and report from Kansas City said the gov ernment had re-entered the wheat market In the Southwest. These two items, available to the trade at about the same time, touched off a strong buying wave. Losses extending to around 1 cents were cancelled and gains substituted. Corn went to a new record high In the closing minutes when May old at 2.69', up ' cent from yesterday's peak. Wheat closed lt-3 higher, May $3.03'-1, corn was lower to a cento higher.
