The second game will be Oregon City versus Grant. Spon sored by the 30-30, the games are ! the first In a three-night series. Tickets will be sold at the door for ' 15 cents for students and 75 cents ; (or adults. Recreation after the game can be found on the dance floor of the Masonic temple, where a dance Is being sponsored by the Jobs Daughters. Price will be 25 cents stag and 35 cents a couple; 11:15 will be closing time. To create pep for the game to night a rally was held at naon un der the direction of Yell King Jim Crismon. The halls and auditorium were the location of the rally and the Pep Peppers and Rally squad were there in their red-and-white uniforms. The Snowball formal sponsored by the DeMolay is coming up, Jan uary 26 the exact date. This is a boy-ask-girl affair, and is all school for the first time in three years. Programs for the dance will go on sale at school next week. Attempting to collect 100 pairs of old shoes to send to Europe is the Home Ec club. Sugar "n" Spice. It is doing as so many clubs are this year, sponsoring a Christmas project in place of the usual Christ mas party. Helen Jackson, presi dent, is taking charge of the pro ject. Swimming, even in the winter time, is enjoyed by the QAA girls. (Girls' Athletic association). A party at the pool was held Wednes day after school, and after swim ming the girls were served refresh ments of cocoa and cookies. Dolores Moon was In charge of arrange ments. ' Tomorrow, December 12, is the real for sure date of the Girls league Christmas assembly. Mrs. Victor O'Neill will tell a Christmas story, 'The Birthday." by Mar garet Sangster. Bill Owens acted as general critlo and Joe Laclalr as table topic chairman. Howard Holt started off the speak ing program on the timely subject, "Are These Our Children." followed by Ted Lind giving the "Gifts for Yanks Who Oave" program. E. Cooper as toastmaster.- Bill Elliott as general critic, and Clark Fryatt as table topic chairman. There will be two 10-mlnute speeches, one by Scotty Johnston and one by Jack Robblns.
