Hambltn In double nns vows exchanged at the First Presbyterian church Tuesday, November 23. at 3 o'clock. Mr. Hambltn Is the aon of Mr. and Mrs. E. Haniblm. also of Klamath Falla. Rev. David F. Barnett read the rites before friends and relatives of the couple. Lighted tapers In tall candelabra illuminated the church, and witeri. chrysanthemums and palms formed the floral background. Mrs. George Willis sang "O, Per fect Love" preceding the vows, ac companied by Mrs. George Mrlntyre. who later played the traditional wedding marches. Miss Marin was given in mari iugc by her father. Her gown was fash ioned with a white satin bodice and a lacy ruffle around the nylon yoke. The skirt was of sheer nylon over satin with a long train. Three-strand pearls were her only jewelry. A beaded tiara held her fingertip veil In place, and for flowers she carried a white orchid atop a match ing Bible. Cloe Bradley, gowned in a long frock of blue, was maid of honor and the bride's only attendant. Her arm bouquet was of gardenias and carnations. Mrs. Marin chose a suit of wine gabardine with black accessories nnd wore a white carnation corsage for her daughter's wedding. The brother of the bridegroom. Mollis Hambhn, was best man, and Nuptials Are Read Thanksgiving Day Carol Lee Reeves, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L. E. Reeves of Mer rill, became the bride of Carroll Boals, son of Mr. and Mrs. Hershel Boals of Tennessee, in a ceremony read Thanksgiving Day. November 27. The wedding was the first to take place at the new Peace Memorial Presbyterian church. Rev. Hugh T. Mitchelmore read the rites. Palms and standards of white chrysanthemums formed the floral setting with tapers in candelabra lighting the church. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a gown of white lace, fashioned with long fitted . . sleeves and lum which t: Bin. a matching lace pep-1 fell into a long court I Her brief shoulder length veil was held by a wreath of white flowers. Gardenias and carnations with white satin streamers topped her white Bible. Maid of honor was a close friend. Ruthie Patterson, who came hers from Willamette university at Salem for the occasion, and Virginia Reeves, sister of the bride, was bridesmaid. Marjorie Lynn Bertram was flower girl. All wore identical clotted red and white organdy gowns with puffed sleeves and bouffant flounced skirts. Their bouquets were riKKnn Knn-c i Mrs. Reeves, mother of the bride, was attired in a dress of gold with brown accessories. Her corsage was of Talisman roses. Best man was Bruce Crawford, and usher was Harold Peyton, who came for the wedding from the Uni versity of Oregon at Eugene. Morris Weakly sang. "O. Promise Me" before the vows, accompanied by Mrs. Hugh T. Mitchelmore. who later played the wedding marches. The reception followed at the church. Mrs. H. E. Reeves of Port land, grandmother of the bride, served, and Mrs. J. G. Patterson poured. After a wedding trip to Crescent City and other coastal points, the new Mr. and Mrs. Boals returned to make their home in Merrill. For going away. Mrs. Boals wore an afternoon dress of beige with brown accessories. From out-of-town were the aunt and uncle of the bride. Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Morgan, and her cousins. Jo anne and Charles, all of Mehama. and her grandparents. Mr. and Mrs. H. E. Reeves of Portland. Granae Club LANGELL VALLEY The home economics club of the Langell Val ley grange met at the community hall December 2 for a regular meet ing. Joan Marchant was hostess. Members spent the afternoon making Christmas tally cards and other items lor the benefit card party to be given December 13 by the grange. Kay House was in charge of the meeting. Refreshments were served to Mil dred Novotny. Kay House and her mother. Mrs. Griffith. Jeanette Gra lian. Edna Hood. Daphne Settle, Lucille Lilly, Miriam Potucek, Christine Brown, Odessa Noble, Willie Mae Schmidll. Bonnie Fern lund and Mr-. Murchant. Pink and white were the color j motif at the reception held later In j the church parlors. Centering the bride's table was a lovely white cake encircled with pink rosebuds and flanked by pink asters. Kail blooms were placed about the room. Mrs. Clara Simmers served after the nowlyweds cut the traditional first slice of their wedding cake. Mrs. Bob Stevens and Mrs. W. Little poured, while Eleanor Sim mers presided at the guest book. Soon after. Mr. and Mrs. Hamb lin left for a trip along the Califor nia coast. For traveling the new Mrs. Hambhn selected a suit of aqua w ith pink blouse and hat and brown accessories. Her orchid was pinned at the shoulder. They are at home at 2012 Mam. Coming from out of town for the wedding were Gates Cockran of Salem and Bert Morris of Mill City, long-time friends of the bride, and the bridegrooms grandfather. G. L. Hambliu of Seligman. Mo. WED AT THE First Covenant church Sunday, November 30, were Inga Johnson, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gunner Johnson, and Ted Nancarrow. Rites were solemnized at 5 o'cock in the ofternoon.
