All possible ideas were dis cussed and on motion of Howard, seconded by Caswell, the officers were Instructed to negotiate and pursue the necessary steps to ac complish the following four primary objectives with the authorities of state, government and other bodies: 1. Stop poisoning the fish now In Odell lake. 2. Increase on a regular schedule the stocking of legal sited fish In the lake, 3. To close spawning areas during the proper season and insist that some practical patrol and method of enforcing of such restriction be im plemented. 4. Another matter of discussion was roads in the forest service area of the Deschutes national forest and particularly those roads leading In from the highway-lodge road to the homes of the summer people on the west end of the lake. It was stated that forest service officials had promised to send In a truck with two men to improve these roads providing the summer people would also furnish the labor of two men. The officers were in structed to go as far as necessary to ascertain whether or not this was a true condition, and if so. why. The next matter under considera tion was the permanent date of the annual meeting of the association. which was established at one day during the week of August 15. each year, with three additional regular scheduled meetings to be held, one day the week of the 15th of the months of June.
