Camp Fire NeWs The annual Dad-Daughter dinner of the Camp Fire Girls m ill be held this Friday evening at the armory. The girls have been working on decorations and favors for the tables, using for their theme part of the birthday project: "Going Places Going to Camp." In addition to some program from the girls, there will be talk by the camp chairman con cerning the camp at Lake o' the Woods. The dates for Camp Fire at tendance this year will be from Aug ust 3 to August 17, and a complete bulletin Is on Its way to all leaders and girls at this time. An event which will be long re membered by the Daffodil Blue Bird group took place last week. At the Invitation of R. E. Fielder, father of one of the Blue Birds, the girls enjoyed an hour's cruise on Upper Klamath lake on Fielder's boat. The Blue Birds, with their leader, Mrs. Orville Herman, brought sandwiches and were served pop for their picnic lunch. Re-Zoning Asked For NBC Building PORTLAND, May 33 iPi The city labor-management committee today asked the city council to re cone a portion of a 25-acre tract to permit the National Biscuit company to erect a $J .000 .000 plant which would employ 1000 persons. L. C. Stoll, chairman, said the list of 30.000 persona unemployed in the Portland area would be re duced by the plant and that the company's plans to make an in dustrial showolace of the building would not affect adjacent residen tial districts.
