Ikes To Host Crab Feed The Isaak Walton league, Klamath-Modoc chapter, will hold a crab feed tonight at 8 p. m. at the Lor Cabin Inn near the Weed-Ashland highway junction. The dinner will be In honor of Elmer Church, state president of the conservation grouo, who will visit (he Klamath Palls chapter. L. 8week, Unmtllla-Mor-row county district circuit Judge 18 years, died at his home late Monday of a self-lnfllcted gunshot wound, his son Jack reported today. Judge Sweek, one of the best known men In Eastern Oregon, was 81 and had suffered with cancer for some time, his illness had been described as Incurable. He died a short time after shoot ing himself in the head with a small caliber revolver, the son said. Sweek was born March 3, 1888, at Hamilton, Ore. He attended Ore gon State college, the University of Oregon and graduated from the University of Michigan law school In 1013. He practiced law at Hcppner from 1915 to 1931, coming here when elected to the circuit bench. Indians Get Per Capita Pay The Klamath Agency office Is in the midst of spring per capita pay ments with 1563 per capita shares of $125 each being Issued to members of the Klamath tribe on the reserva tion. Total payment this spring will reach $195,375. according to Supt. B. O. Courtright. Usual per capita payment, made twice yearly, is $300 but due to a delay In the United States treasury department the payment this spring was only $125. Courtright said. The difference will be made up In the fall per capita payment. Courtright asserted.
