That indicates a deficit of $216. Under the state tournament arrangements, a participating team is allowed $5 per day per player and coach as expenses. Klamath was allowed $5 per day for 1 1 men, or $55 a day. At the start, the state association offi cials figured on a four-day deal, but Joe Peak, Klamath athletics director, pointed out that the Pelicans were forced to spend at least five days at fcugene. and it is expected the allowance will be on a five-day basis. That is $275. In addition, the Pelicans were allowed 20 cents a mile for travel. Klamath Model Plane Sets 101 Mile Speed Record Klamath came back at Med- ford Sunday and recouped Its losses from the previous model club meet wtih a new speed rec ord of 101 miles per hour with a control line plane. The meet, held in Medford and sponsored by the Medford Gas Model club, was attended by some 10 ardent model fans from the Klamath club, but due Huskies Tack Up College Ski Honors STAMPEDE, Wash., March 25 (Jf) The University of Wash ington snowmen tacked up the Pacific coast conference inter collegiate ski bunting today after closing the three-day meet with victories in the slalom and down hill events. Combined events team scores placed the Huskies on top with 362 J points with Washington State second at 3321. Idaho, the second day leader,, dropped to third in the final standings with 312 followed by Oregon State with 172 and Oregon at 119. Rces Stevenson, Washington speedster, paced both of the meet's final events, winning the slalom in 72.6 and the downhill in 53.4.
