Official Visitor Honored At Tea Orace Coit, supreme queen of the Daughters of tlie Nile, wti entertained by the Klamath Falls chapter at a pretty tea Friday afternoon from 2 to 4 o'clock In the Pelican party room which highlighted Mrs. Cost's official visit to the local group. Daffodils and greens decorated the rooms with tapers in the same colors. A special feature was a large, beautifully deco rated birthday cake marking the 16th birthday of the group. Pouring were Mrs. Marshall E. Cornett and Mrs. Walter Brown, past presidents. Assist Caph lain Hunt ' Takes Bride In Ceremony (Continued from Page Five) white mallne covered with white glamellias. Miss Redner's bouffant gown was of lavender marquisette and her colonial bouquet was of daf fodils, bachelor buttons and pinks. She wore a matching band of flowers in her hair. The bridesmaids' gowns, styled iden tically to Miss Redner's, were of light green marquisette. Their colonial bouquets were of mixed spring flowers and they also wore matching flower bands in their hair. Young Betsy Marie wore a yellow marquisette gown, fashioned along lines similar to the other attendants. Corwin wore a white suit. - One hundred end fifty guests attended the reception which was held at the Coleman home after the ceremony. Mrs. Cole man received the guests in an aqua crepe gown and violet hat and the bridegroom's mother wore a sequin - trimmed black crepe gown, with a flowered hat. Both had corsages of orchids. Wedding cake and other refresh- ments were served. The house was decorated with pink snap dragons. When Captain and Mrs. Hunt left later for a four to five weeks' wedding trip to Oregon, via New ' Orleans and southern California, she was wearing a light blue suit and a navy blue top coat Her accessories also were navy blue and at her shoulde- she had a cluster of orchids. The Hunts will reside in Klamath Falls, where he will practice medicine with his father. Out-of-town guests were Mr. and Mrs. Frank H. Hill and Mr. and Mrs. Richard D. Hill of Pon tiac; Mr. and Mrs. Donald Budd of Royal Oak; Mr. and Mrs. Reed Coleman and children, Nancy, Jill and David, of Detroit; Mr. and Mrs. Harry Kirbv of Detroit; Mr. and Mrs. Earl Coleman, Mrs. George Coleman and James Cole man of Hastings; Mr. and Mrs. Curtis W. Holder of Troy; Mrs. Harry Lever of Toronto, Ont., and Miss Cary Worman of Kala mazoo. Young Mrs. Hunt is a gradu ate of Battle Creek high school and of Pine Manor Junior col lege at Wellesley Mass. She at : tended the University of Michi ; gan. Captain Hunt is a graduate of both Oregon State college at Corvallis, Ore., and of the Uni versity of Oregon medical school at Portland, Ore. He had his in ternship and surgical residency at the State of Wisconsin Gen eral hospital at Madison, Wis. Now on terminal leave, he was on the medical staff at Percy Jones General hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Coleman enter tained for the wedding party Friday evening after the re hearsal at a dinner oarty in the League room of the Hart hotel. Dr. and Mrs. Warren C. Hunt and James are expected home late in March and they, too, are having a wonderful trip in the south and plan to visit many of the famous old gardens on the pilgrimages arranged at this time of the ear. Mrs. J. C. Hunt, 70 Pine street, will entertain members of the Art Needlework club Wednesday afternoon, March 5, at 2 o'clock at her home. Surprise Party A surprise birthday party was held on Friday. February 21, in honor of Virginia Maston's 16th birthdav anniversary. Scene of the affair was the Clair Smith home on the Lakcview high way. A stocking dance was the event of the evening witn awards going to Ben Sheppard and June Wu. A large red, white and blue birthday cake was. cut by the honor guest climaxing the eve ning's festivities. Guests were Miss Maston, Shirley Maston, Barbara Ram sey, Wilma Blackmail, Carmel Adams.
