Hender son, county agent, and the al lotment board Is meeting this week to break down the allot ments to Individual farmers. . Henderson emphasized that allotments to Individuals are based on their farm history for tho past threo years, and that the allotments go with tho farms, not tho Individuals op erating them. So far, Hender son suld, there are quite a few allotment claims to be received. Any not received, he pointed out, would rccclvo a "zero" al lotment. Also, this year l( farmer does not receive an al lotment, Henderson said, he can not expect any price support on ma cropa. Judge Bunnell Death Told Robert Henry Bunnell, former Klamath county Judge, native of Alameda county, Calif., whose childhood was spent on the fron tiers of Oregon, died ut his home In Brookings, at tho age of 70, on Tucsdoy, Februury 18. Mr. Bunnell died at 0 a. m. nt his now home In Brookings. He is survived by his wife, Ida M., daughter Myrtle Dell and aon Lloyd of Ashland; two nephews, J. A. Bunnell and Puul Triplett and a niece, Mrs. Lois Schlescl, all of Klumuth Fulls. Tho deceased wos a member of u prominent pioneer family in this county In 1BH5, and became a potent factor In developing the highways here. Ho was engaged In farming and stock raising on Lost river on the SOO ncre Steele ranch and ran ISO head of cattle and 40 head of horses. Later he was fairly successful In dry farming to wheat and from time to timo purchased acreages. He was a member of a company that brought pure-bred stallions to Klamath county In 1005, and al so raised draft horses. Mr. Bunnell was elected as county Judgo In 4918, serving until 1021 and was re-elected to servo until 1027. It waa during hia term In office that nearly all tho main highways lu the county were constructed and to Judge Bunnell la given the credit for much development work here. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 3:30 p. m. from Whltlock's parlors and burial service at Mt. Lakl where he will be laid to rest In the family plot. Recreation Office Head Not Named A successor to E. E. Ham brick as city recreation officer has not yet been named, Mayor Ed Ostcndorf said today, and Humbrlck, whose resignation was to have been effective Feb ruury 1, Is still on the Job. The recreation committee has received applications from eight or 10 aspirants for the post, and Fred Robinson, member of the committee, Is making Inves tigations of each applicant. Teen Age Party Slated Junior high students,' includ ing seventh and eighth graders of all schools in the city, will gather at the Teen Age canteen Saturday night, instead of Fri day, for the big party of the year. Students are asked to observe the change in date. As the affair is "strictly dress up" those attending are asked to wear party clothes. It will be "ties for the boys and party dresses for the girls," the com mittee advises. A 10-piece dance band has been obtained for the affair, hours from 7 to 10:30 p. m.
