This ia Indeed a worthy project but it appears to im that it la wholly Inadequate na a memorial to one who for ao long put herself en tirely into the task of aerving every reading person in Klam ath county whom she could find a way to reach. To many of us. Miss McComb waa the only con tact we had with the county aeat and the influence of her atten tions were felt in every school throughout Klamath. The Inst time we saw Mury McComb she waa proudly show ing us. plana for the new library which was the thing nearest her heart. From it aho could better serve the county, ahc said. That was always paramount in her life, service to the people, adult and child, of Klamath coejntv. Why Is this not tho time to build a memorial which is really wor thy of her, a new library build ing from which can be carried out the service which she so atrove to perfect.
