The Mrs. Cutting's Death Told Mrs. Thlrza Marian Cutting. 96. died In her alecp at 0:30 p. m. Thursday at the home of her granddaughter, Mrs. Willis A. Ulldden, 4505 Denver, with whom she has made her home the past eight years. Death was attributed to the ailments of her age. Mrs. Cutting was born July 18, 1850, li Watervllle, Vermont, but spent most of her married Charles Albert Cutting, preceded her in death in 11)26 at Yuma, Arli. For many ycara Mrs. Cut ting lived with a daughter. Mrs. Thlrza Belle Cooper of Mt. Shasta, a resident of that section since 1005, and she will be burled Sunday by her side in the Mt. Shasta cemetery. Mr. and Mrs. Oliclden and family, and Mrs. Cutting's grandson, Arthur Coop er of this city, will leavo Satur day for Mt. Shasta to attend final rites. Music Historian Dies In Salem Mrs. Walter Denton of Salem, widely known in Oregon music circles and historian for the State Federation of Music club for many years and head of the Oregon committee for National Music week since institution of the annual observance 20 years ago, died at Salem hospital Monday. Mrs. Denton was a member of a pioneer Oregon society and is survived by her brother, Dr. R. E. Lee Stelner and sister, Mrs. M. L. Meyers, both of Salem. Mrs. Denton was 78 years at the time of her death but until her passing had con tinued her Interest in music. Mrs. Denton was also director of the music club's program ar ranged at the Oregon State fair annually. Final rites were held Tuesday in Salem.
