Handcuffed Escapee Serves Sentence PORTLAND, Dec. 13 (JP) William Kuhn Jr., the hand cuffed youth who escaped from fiolice in a blizzard last month, s serving 90 days for hunting without a license. He pleaded guilty to the change, on which police orig inally arrested him near La Pine in November. He escaped into the snow and was re-arrested at Madras Monday. Police said he admitted living in an isolated cabin near La Pine since going AWOL from Camp Roberts, Calif., in 1944. Army authorities have been notified. Cities Ask Highway Cut SALEM, Dec. 13 OP) A re quest that the state give three times as much highway revenues to cities as they now are getting was made here last night at a regional meeting of the League of Oregon Cities. The delegate requested 19 per cent of highway revenues, compared with the S per cent they now are getting. They also asked that aviation gasoline be taxed 4 cents gallon for development of air. ports by cities, that cities get at least 10 per cent of state liquor revenues, and that property be reassessed frequently for mora equitable taxation.
