Eya Surgery William Bliss. Klumuth Fulls resident, entered Hillside hospital Wednesday to have eye surgery done. He ex pects to return home today. Pneumonia Ray Estell, 4049 Freldu, employe of the Ralph L. Smith Lumber company, was admitted to Hillside hospital Wednesday suffering from pneu monia. Lumber Secretary Dies In Portland PORTLAND, Ore., Dee. 12 (Pi H. D. Wcuvcr, 48, secretary of the Lumbermen's industrial re lations committee, died unex pectedly early today. He had been under treatment for a number of weeks following a back injury suffered on a hunt ing trip, but was believed recov ering satisfactorily when he was stricken at hia home. He died a few houra later at St. Vincent's hospital. Tile coroner' office suld cause of death had not been determined. Classified Ads Bring Results. Local Man Hurt In Wreck Emll G. Harris, understood to operate a cement mixing busi ness In Klamath Falls, was in jured serlounly in the collision of his automobile and a bus at an Intersection In Oregon City Wednesday night. Harris suf fered a possible skull fracture, fractured left leg and shock. The Klamath resident was re cently named defendant In di vorce action filed here by his wife, Bcuiah G. Harris, also known as Bcuiah G. Giovanctti. According to records, Harris was naturalized some time ago and was given court permission to change his name from Giovnnet tl to Harris. Ho left for Port land Tuesday. Mrs. Harris and children live at 1248 Kane and Harris' address, according to the city directory, is 1248 Main.
