John ston of New Pine Creek and Mr. and Mrs. Beenie Smith of Willow Ranch attended an Important meeting of the Eastern Star at Ft. Bidwcll last Wednesday, No vember 27. An election of offi cers was held. Mrs. Florence Dunlap left a week ago last Sunday for Sacra mento where she attended the northern section of the state teachers Institute. Four thousand teachers, which represented 19 counties, weia present at the big meeting that was held In th Sacramento civic center stadium.
