The federal airport bill ac
tually apportions $7,000,000 for
Oregon in the five-year period,
but much of that is needed for
non-construction purposes.
The state plan probably will
not start providing it is passed
bv the legislature until late
1947. Hill said. The state plan
calls for construction of 51 class
one fields 1800 fact by 400
feet, unsurfaced
fields 2700 feet long: and one
class three field, 3700 feet long.

bers of a Now York City family
was uncovered recently when
the army's criminal investigation
department apprehended two
members of the family in Berlin
and Paris, an official announce

The five persons involved, all
of New York City, were identi
fied as: David L. Warner and lus

Warner, 23, a former air corps
lieutenant who was a civilian

Carlucci estimated that "if the
business had gone on for one
