Weekend-Affairs
During the Bend tournament at Reames Golf and Country
club last weekend the women of Reames were hostesses to the
Bend visitors with a dinner pnrty Sunday. Dr. Ray W. Olden
burg was tournament chairman.
In charge of the dinner was Jack Webber. Chairman of the
committee arranging details was Mrs. Fied Farley, and Mrs. L.
D. Stephens handled floral decorations. Mrs. Merle Swanson
took charge 01 cams ana moics.

Mrs. Martin Swanson, Mrs.

To Ashland
Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Kuy
kendall of 335 Alameda are
leaving soon to make their
home in Ashland. Kuykendall
is technician and announcer for
the Ashland radio station.
The Kuykendalls have lived
in Klamath Falls for a number
of years. Kuykendall taught
science classes at the Klamath
Union high school before join
ing the navy.

their two children, Roger and

TULELAKE Word has been
received here of the marriage
in June of Ida Crumb of Tule
lake to Thomas Reid. The cou
ple has purchased a home in
Marion, Ohio, but plan to visit
here nexi fall.
Mrs. Reid is the owner of the
Lovely Lady beauty shop,
which is now being operated by
Vicki Burke. Mrs. Reid has
been in the east for more than
a year.

ated in 1943 from Tulelake high
school and attended business

from service and is in business

Bowls of old fashioned flowers added a mid summer touch to
the Merrill home of Mrs. W. B. Graham. Wednesday. August 7,
when she entertained in honor of her daughter-in-law. Mrs. Les

The new Mrs. Graham was the recipient of many lovely and

according to an announcement inmle at a recent meeting of the
Merrill Rchekah lodge.

tato festival parade and Henry Anderson was appointed chair
man for the float committee.
