Vacation SPRAGUE RIVER Mr. and Mrs. Jerome Runnels returned home to Snrague River last Saturday after a four -week vacation trip In their new Dodge pickup which took them through 17 states, a roundtrip of H:ioo miles. Runnels spent some time with his brothers and sisters whom he had not seen for 13 years. Altogether there arc 16 children and one step-mother I living within a radius of 25 Pinochle miles of each other. There arc 70 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. The Runnels left Sproguc River and traveled through Al turas, Calif., Boulder dam, Ne vada, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee, Kentucky, Ohio. In diana, Illinois and Iowa. Mrs. Runnels visited her relatives In different parts of Iowa. They returned through Nebraska, Wyoming, Utah and Idaho, Going East Mr. and Mrs. R. II. Anderson of Klamath Falls are making plans for an auto mobile trip to Columbus, O., where they will attend the sov ereign grand lodge convention of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows. They will be ac companied on the trip by Mr. nnd Mrs. Arthur W. Foster of Portland, and will represent the grand ( lodge encampment of Oregon. They will leave on the eastern trek on September 4.
