Workmen noticed him nap ping, climbed a vertical ladder, and then called the fire depart ment when they couldn't per suade him to find some other place to sleep. Firemen fastened a rope around the man's waist and lowered him to the ground. He identified himself and walked away, leav ing the firemen somewhat mysti fied. Airline Plans I Alaskan Runs SEATTLE, Aug. 2 (P) North west Airlines will operate daily from Seattle to Anchorage, with three flights a week from the Alaska city to the Orient when tho new north Pacific service starts, officials said today. Three flights weekly also will be made from Chicago to An chorage. Frank C. Judd, western re gional manager, said the North west board of directors would meet here next Tuesday to dis cuss the new routes. Judd said the lines would use Seattle's Boe ing field until construction of the new Bow Lake airport mid way between Seattle and Tacoma is completed, probably in 18 months. J. A. Earley, chairman of the Pacific Northwest Oriental Air lines committee which urged a Seattle gateway, said "we're dis appointed that we're not going io no ine tone gateway.
