Church' Ceremony
Read At Ashland
In an afternoon ceremony Wednesday, July 17 in the Trinity
Episcopal church of Ashland, Nancy Lou Ramsay, daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Elton Ramsay of Klamath Falls, became the bride
of Ismol Mitchell of Sutter Creek, Calif.
The ceremony was read before an altar flanked with white
gladioli and lighted tapers.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a gown of
white Japanese silk with a fingertip veil of net. She carried a

Orchard way was hostess at a
lawn picnic at her home on Fri
day, July 19, with her house
guest, Mrs. C. M. Reynolds and
daughter, Charlene, of San Jose
the guests of honor. It was the
regular meeting day of the Sen
ior circle of the Community
Congregational church, and for
three years Mrs. Reynolds was
president of the group before
her family moved to California.
A number of Mrs. Reynold's
former friends, in addition to
circle members, attended the
Sicnic. The list included Mrs. S.

No business meeting was held,
and the afternoon was spent in
visiting and handiwork. The
place of the next circle meeting
will be announced later.

Barbara Ramsay, sister of the
bride, was maid of honor. She
chose a long gown of blue or
gandy. Bridesmaid was Donna
Ruger, who wore a similar
gown of pink. Both carried nose
gays oz sweet peas and lilies cen
tered with white carnations.
Dorrance Ruger, uncle of the
bride, was best man.
Marilyn Young was soloist
and Mrs. Hoffman played the
wedding music. Mrs. Ramsay
chose a dress of black with
white accessories. A single gar
denia was pinned to her shoul
der. Following the ceremony, a re
ception was held at the home of
Mrs. Maude Ruger, grandmother
of the bride. An out-of town
guest was Mrs. Mavis Lutr, sis
ter of the groom.
After a brief wedding trip to
Mt. Lassen park thev will make
their home in Twain-Harte,
Calif., where the groom is em
ployed. He is the son of Mr. and
Mrs. Leonard Mitchell of Sutter
Creek, Calif.

MALIN The Malin Helping
Hand society met July 17 at the
home of Mrs. William Graham.
Mrs. Mimsi of Florida, who is
visiting at the Harry Hundley
home, entertained the group
with the vocal selection, "More
and More."
The three guests present for
the occasion were Mrs. Donald

and Mrs. Mimsi. Members at

Reno Ceremony
TULELAKE LaVerne For
han, Texarkana, Ark., and Floyd
Tilley, Tulelake, son of Mr and
Mrs. Roy Tilley, were married
July 13 in a quiet ceremony at
Reno. The bride is a sister of
Mrs. H. Thornberg of Tulelake.
They were accompanied to Reno
by John Irby.
They will make their home
for the present with the groom's
parents.
Tilley is employed on the con
struction of the Henzel brothers'
grain elevator near here. He was
discharged recently from the
navy after serving four years
overseas.
