July 3 (APt Oats futures slumped more than 2 cents m buthel at times today under selling inspired large ly by a growing belief that some sort of price control would be enacted soon. During most of the session, only the nearby July delivery of oats remained above 88 cents, which waa the OP A celling. Corn futures were bid up the S cent daily limit again, which barley was weak. Cah markets were firm, however. No 3 yellow com waa bid at $2.13-3 23. about 3 cents higher. Bookings to arrive were 368 000 bushels of corn and 107.000 bushels of oats, below yesterday's high bookings. Oats closed I's-l1 rents lower than the previous finish, July 92xt corn was up3 cent.
