The Pelican party room was the setting for the Installation
luncheon of the Soroptimist club on Thursday. The Incoming

family who had received some
clothing and food, and told how
enthusiastic they all were over
the articles sent and that they
were distributed to those need
ing clothing and help, and men
tioned how particularly happy
they were to receive the friend
ly notes that went with the'
packages from American Sor
optlmists. Alice Gnylord was a guest of
the club at luncheon.

discharged from the marine

Last Meeting
Aloha chapter, Order of the
Eastern Star, will meet Tues
day evening, June 25, for a
regular meeting at 8 o'clock in
the Masonic temple.
