bread advanced a penny today
with OI'A approval.

which went up two cents a loaf

Prices are being raised, OPA
said, because bakers' production
costs have climbed as a result

help meet famine relief re
quirements. OPA said that before the
flour cut, bukers made a "small
profit" by spreading their costs
over a lurge output of breud

tion to continue selling at prices
