Upstate communities, receiv ing only half the normal aupply, are therefore feeling the bread ahortage more sharply than Portland, which gets 75 per cent of the usual supply, the commit tee said. The group, comprised of wholesale and retail dealers, went on record opposing any return to food rationing. June 7 (VP) In connection with the shooting of j a Seattle shoe store manager last December, Richard C. Brit- ton. 2a, was found guilty or first degree murder by a superior court jury here yesterday. The state held that Brltton was guilty as a party to an attempted robbery. The man who wielded the gun which killed Clayton W. Stockberger still Is at large, Prosecutor Floyd Shorett said.
