FBI Grabs Deserter
At Vancouver, Wash.
PORTLAND, Ore., May 31 IIP)
Robert Briggs, 26, has been
turned over to the army after
his arrest at Vancouver, Wash.,
on a desertion charge, the FBI
office here said today.
He Is accused of deserting the
army from Camp Callan, Calif.,
four years ago. A former Mon
mouth, Ore., resident, Brings
operated out of Kstacada, Calif.,
as a logging truck driver.
