Union Tabs Solons With Unfair Diamond Practices BOSTON, April 30 OP) The question of jurisdiction was raised today by the national labor relations board which yes terday received from the Amer ican baseball guild charges of unfair labor practices against the Washington baseball club. The guild action, announced here by Director Robert Murphy, was the first move against any club in the latest attempt to unionize professional ball play ers. Those battlers were engaged in a return match, after almost year s lapse, and Joyce had much the best of it during the early stages. In their previous clash Joyce, while battling from a stand-up stance, was defeat ed by a decided margin. Retriever Club Meets Tonight , Local hunters and sportsmen will be asked to form a retriever club here tonight at a meeting of dog fanciers to be held at 7:30 in the chamber of commerce building. The Oregon Retriever Trial club of Portland is interested in the formation of a group here and the possibility of field trials being conducted here next fall, Dick Morgan, Keno sportsman, has been making arrangements for the formation of the group and tonight details of the organi zation are to be worked out. All hunters who work dogs are invited to attend the retriever meeting tonight. Bambino Will Take Mexican Vacation NEW YORK, April 30 (AP) Babe Ruth was all set today to fly to Mexico May 15 for a "va cation" at the invitation of Jorge Pasquel, president of the Mexi can league. Ruth said he would stay in Mexico "from 10 days to two weeks" but insisted that base ball was not even mentioned in his conversation with Pasquel's New York representative.
