TULELAKE In a colorful ceremony in the annex of the
Tulelake Community Presbyterian cnirch January 30, newly
elected officers of the Tulelake assembly, Order of the Rainbow
for Girls, were installed by Dorothy Loosley, retiring worthy
advisor as installing officer,' Bernice Hartley was installing mar
shal; Angeline Galloway, installing chaplain; Marion Wilson, in
stalling recorder and Vesta Shogren, installing organist.

MERRILL Mr. and Mrs.
Walter Richard Fotheringham
surprised friends here when
they returned last week from a
wedding trip. The new Mrs.
Fotheringham is a former resi
dent of Fort Collins, Colorado.
She was Ruby Williams.
The wedding was an event of
January 17 while Mr. Fother
ingham was in Colorado on a
vacation with relatives. He has
been employed in the Merrill
community for many years as
a carpenter.
Mr. and Mrs. Fotheringham
are making, their home in the
Hood apartments where friends
are making them welcome.

As a special feature of their
regular meeting, the members of
Girl Scout troop nine of Alta

ed a musical program Monday,
January 28.
Twelve of the girls played
