This was only the start and loter more money was appropri ated by the school board to help the project along. Last year money was given for the instal lation of electrical fixtures. The Little Theatre, os it stands today, has a stage, paneled walls and a wooden tiered floor that provides for better seating ar rangement. This year money was budgeted for heavy per manent chairs, but since these arc not yet avulluble in the prop er quality, the money is to be used for heavy velvet curtains and backdrops for the stage. What i now the prop room used to be the old oil room: the office wax the place of business of the vocational director, while the costume room held not fancy dress, but crude tools, and the small room leading to the stage wu used as headquarters for the gym teachers. Still more Improvements are scheduled for the theatre. Some duy It will boast a tile floor with carpet and upholstered seat. Most of the credit for what ha been done goes to Mrs. B. B. Blomuuixt, dramatic teacher, who has been responsible for changing a greasy, stone garage Into an attractive theatre. And Incidentally It looks like the students of KUHS can come to school in drove when they have to, be cause only 18 girl were absent from the school yesterday, and fewer boys. The lack of absen teeism was because of exams.
