Bike Licenses
To Go On Sale
New bicycle licenses will go
on sale at the office of the
municipal judge in the city hall
Saturday, December 15, at 9
, a. m. Recreation Director E. E.
Hambrick urges all bicycle own
ers to secure their licenses at
that time.
; City ordinances require that
all bicycles operated within the
city bear the license number
for the current year. The li
cense will cover a two-year
period and will cost 50 cents.
The public is reminded by
the recreation department that
any bicycle operated after sun
down must be equipped with a
light and a red reflector on the
rear mud-guard or fender, to
prevent accidents to the rider.
Information required when
the license is secured includes
frame number, make of bicycle,
the type of frame, wheels, rims,
eat and brake.
