A new meth od of combining dried fruits, chopped nuts and honey or sy rup produces a delectable var iety of Persian sweets. Brittle choco late taffy can be made from dark corn syrup and a small amount of brown sugar. Foster, inspector in charge, bureau of animal indus try, Oregon division, states that Dr. Riker, formerly veterinarian Inspector at Klamath Falls, who is now returning from active duty, will again be stationed at Klamath Falls. A few days ago Dr. Riker stopped in at the county agent's office for a short visit and indicated he would like to be back to this location at the earliest opportunity. The county agent's office Is still taking requests for testing both dairy and beef cattle and these should be made at the earliest opportunity at room 213, post office building, Klam ath Falls. Cancels Dane Baldy Evans has cancelled his dance at the Klamath armory tonight because of the Marine Barracks' dance featuring Bob Crosby's orches tra.
