Ashbrcnner on Wednesday, No vember 21. The brido wore a white ult with a blue coat and hat and matching accessories. Her cor sage was of gardenia and car nations. The bride's maid of honor was Patricia Kane, niece of the bridegroom. Miss Kane wore a blue suit with a white corsage. The best man was John Bur nett, brother of the bride. Attending the service were Mr. and Mrs. S. L. Burnett, Mr. and Mrs. Marlon Kane Sr., Mrs. Lee Woodruff, Mr. and Mrs. Guy Hedrick, and Mr. and Mrs. Myron Fisher. Following the memorial serv ices for Victor fertager. held Sunday In the Klamath Luther an church, a few close friends of the family went to the home of Mrs. Brada Nystrom in the civilian housing unit to offer tneir sympathy and to present Mrs. Mertager with a beautiful bouquet of red asters and white chrysanthemums. Several friends from Medford attended the memorial services, and many of the family's friends here in Klamath Falls, where they forr merly resided, were present at the service. After tho guests wore seated a gift was presented to tho presi dent, Myrtlo Guthrie, and to tht secretary-treasurer, Naomi Rod mon, Lillian Thomas of Los An geles, former member of the club and a guest at the dinner, received a corsago of gardenias. The orchestra played request numbers during tho evening and all enjoyed the group singing of old favorites. An other meeting will be held next Tuesday, November 27, with the initiation of candidates. Officers and drill team are requested to wear formats. This is to be called rally night, and members are urged to be present. There will be entertainment and re freshments after the meeting. Pledges Eleanor Mae Kandra of Tule luko is one of SOU students at Stephens college, Columbia, Mo., who has pledged one of tho 10 social sororities on the college campus. Informal pledging took place at the conclusion of a month of rushing activity, and formal pledging will take plucc on November 18. Miss Kandra, the daughter of Mr. nnd Mrs. John Kundra Jr., Tulclnko, Is one of the 19 pledges of tile Phi Phi Phi sorority. She Is a member of the Junior class at Stephens college. Mary Stewart, who left a month ago to visit friends and relatives in Wisconsin, has left Chicago and was to arrive in Portland this weekend.
