Two telephone operators, Mrs. Catherine Willing and Alba Bliinchl, "borrowed" from Camp White by the Columbia Utilities company will leave this week end to return to tho camp. Mrs. Doris Edwards, chief operator for tho past several months, is remaining one more week to assist Mm. Huldcn who will suc ceed her. Noah has boon in poor health following a paralytic stroke suffered recent ly, and it wus found necessary by his attending physician to am putate his right leg above the Kiieo. Tho survey was per formed Monday and Noah Is re ported to be getting along as well as can be expected. Capt. Alfred B. Castel Jr., U. S. army air corps, is home with his wlfo from Santa Ana, Calif., where they have been the past five weeks. He Is enjoying his termlnul leave until he re ceives his official discharge from tnc service on December 8. Capt. and Mrs. Castel have been visit ing here during the week with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Allred B. Castel Sr. PFC Weston Englc, U S M C, has arrived in San Diego, Calif., from tho South Pacific, accord ing to a telegram received here Sunday by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Engle. He is expect ed here bunday by his parent. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Englc. He is expected to arrive soon in Fort Klamath, following his discharge from the marine corps. Mrs. Wesley Vohs returned Sunday from a trip to Minneapo lis, Minn., where she was called by the illness of her father, whose health is reported Im proved at this time. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Cable are moving this week to their Fort Klamath residence from the Junction lunch and service sta tion one mile south of Fort Klamath, which they have had under lease for the past several companled by a daughter whose husband, serving in the navy, has been sent to China. Bevins and young son remained here. Mrs. Homer Heaton drove to Phoenix, Ariz., last week and was accompanied to Merrill by her son, Earl Abaar and Mrs. Abaar and their baby son Low ell. Abaar is being discharged this week at Portland from serv ice with the army air corps. He has been stationed at Williams field. The young couple plan to make their home here. Orth is In good health and spirits following three years' incarceration In a Japanese pri son camp at Hoten, Manchukuo, according to his parents, and will arrive in Fort Klamath in the near future.
