Rye. climbed to new seasonal peaks at the start, then oats and rye weakened, but later stead led somewhat with wheat. The domestic visible wheat supply de creased 3,370,000 bushels last week to 134,243,000 bushels, the board of trade reported, trade authorities had expected a fairly large decrease, since many farm ers are holding their wheat, apparently pending lower Income taxes noxl year. Wheat held up fairly well but other grains slumped again near the close. The ICC announced late yes terday the postponement was granted at the request of the railroads who said that because of a printers' strike in Chicago they would be unable to have the new tariffs ready by No vember 30. The adjustments, ordered by the ICC last May IS, provided for a 10 per cent cut in class rates In the south and west and for a 10 per cent Increase in Die northeastern part of the country.
