The' new individual income tax formula makes three changes in the present law. ' 1. On the normal tax, tax payers are granted the same exemptions governing the graduated surtax $500 each for the taxpayer and each de pendent. 2. Each bracket of the surtax is reduced by 3 percentage points. 3. After computing the tax under those conditions, the tax payer is allowed to deduct S percent of his bill. For corporations, the confer ees ordered a reduction of 4 pcrccntugo points in the com bined normal and surtax on corporations with income up to $50,000. Firms milking more than that amount would be al lowed a cut of two percentage points.
