Klamath also is interested In favorable action on an applica tion of Nevada-Pacific Airlines to establish feeder line service connecting this city with Lake- view ana Boise on me east ana Alturas and Reno on the south. Jack Mayne, secretary of the Lake- county chamber of com merce, is at hearings to urge the jnevada-Facific case. . The CAB will make a final de cision following the hearings winch opened today. Other Applications Involved in the consolidated west coast case were applications by American Airlines, Coast Aviation corporation, Los Ange les Airways, Nevada-Pacific Air lines, Northwest Airlines, the Ryan School of Aeronautics, aoutnwest Airways, Transcon tinental and Western Air, United Airlines, West Coast Airlines, Western Airlines and Empire Airlines. TRIBUTE PAID TO PORTLAND, Oct. 22 (JF) Oregonians paid tribute to war dead of the nation's sea services at a memorial held yesterday aboard warships here for Navy Jjay. Navy officers and men assent bled on the hanger deck of the carrier Independence for the service with Gold Star mothers, wives and sweethearts as guests of honor. At the close of the service, the flower-covered deck of the submarine Hawkbill was submerged in the river and the blossoms floated to the Pacific. Thousands of spectators stood on board and ashore while taps were sounded from the carrier deck.
