Joo Collstro and Lester Ridcns said they reeled three trout from a pool when they saw tho cat stroll out onto a log. When they got near enough to not the nnl mal they recognized the bobbed tall, tutted ears and vicious snarl as trademarks of a baby DOD-cat. At noon on Saturday they wero called to 2022 Darrow to out out a grass fire which also slightly scorched a garage. Later Saturday afternoon they were sent to 1702 Crescent where there was a small fire on a back porch. The blaze was out when the truck arrived. At 11 o'clock Saturday night a motor caught flro in tho Com munity Grocery lit 1040 East Main. There was no other dam age. At 12:22 Sunday morning equipment was called out again to tho 2000 block on Wantiand where a trash flro had started. Two small fires Sunday aft ernoon sent out the hook and ladder when a grass fire at 1545 Sargcant was started and a saw dust fire smouldered at 804 Market.
