The state auditor and attorney general are working on approp riate means of collecting the money ' which the legislators voted themselves for a special session, then adjourned 4 f i v e days before its scheduled end. The pay of each for the five days was $20 but the state is permitted to charge 25 per cent damages and 10 per cent interest yearly in such cases. ... Aue. 31 (P) The first group of men with 85 or more points, who have been stationed at Fort Lewis, are be ing discharged from the service.
