nurses aide training course will
be given at tho local Red Cross
headquarters three days a week

will bo 35 hours of classroom

practice. The aides will assist

Has Say On Japs

that its western defense com
mand has the sole responsibility
of determining which persons
of Japanese ancestry may or
may not be permitted to return
to Pacific coast states.

west, for security reasons, at the
start of the war.
Major Gen. H. C. Pratt, head

clarify this jurisdiction because,
