It was brought out that here. after, all expenditures must be uudgeiod whether they come out of current funds or reserves and that no more than the budget can be used for any ex pressed purpose. The reserves may not-be touched outside the budgets. A number of municipal di visions have reserve funds which havo been occasionally drawn upon for various purposes which have come up after budgets were drawn. The new law outlaws such procedure, and when the budget committee meets Friday night It is planned to Include all expenditures from reserves in next year's financial schedule. Tho city's fiscal year is from July 1 to Julv 1. The city milk ordinance re quiring a gallonage fee for all milk delivered in the city came under discussion as Dr. Calvin Hunt brought out that although Klamath Creamcrv has raid on all gallonage delivered, Lost mver nas oniy paid tne tee on 20,000 gallons delivered In the city proper and no fee on the 30,000 gallons delivered to the Marine Barracks and naval air stntlon.
