Though the school won few athletic events during the school year, the spirit of sportsmanship evmeni in ooin piayers ana spec tators of the school put them in the winning spot. The athletic teams were coached by James Scott. The A volleyball and A bas ketball championship: awards were made to Fremont school at an assembly which also honored Billy Perkins for his prowess in class A track. Roosevelt School Wins Snoop, Schultze Trophy The Shoop and Schultze 'tro phy which is awarded annually to the outstanding school in 'ath letics during the year was won by Roosevelt school and the (tro phy was presented by Jack Schultze at an assembly held Thursday morning. - ' Roosevelt school totaled 1047 points during the season, and Mills school came second with 868 points. Roosevelt's points were accumulated by winning second in speedball, second in football, second in A basketball, second in B basketball, first in A softball, first in B Softball, first in track and field events and fourth place in both A and B volleyball..
