JC OFFICER; REPORT GIN The Junior chamber of com merce dinner meeting Monday night heard reports from the nlno members who attended the stato Junior chamber meeting In Salcn over the weekend, and honored Marvin Hixon who had oeen elected second vice presi dent of the stato orianlzatlon. Hixon reported on the Gels-1 senbier award given annually to inn uayeco cnapier in tne state which shows In Its seranbnok the fullest and most active outline of! projects completed during the year. Portland won the award given at Salem this year and, while Klamath withdrew from competition during the meeting, it was generally conceded that It placed second In the state. Morgan Johnson, state direct or, gave a complete report of the program at the meeting and out lined the goal of junior chamber through the coming year. John Sandmeyer, president of tne local group, gave a talK on behind-the-scenes politics at tha Salom meet.
