"THESE to bitter house-to-house - fighting In Vienna, but Mos cow dispatches indicate that the Russians think they have the sit' nation there well in hand. Hoc cow says that if the Germans don't get out of the city soon thyTl be surrounded. -- The Germans say today the Russians are ALREADY 30 MILES WEST OF VIEOfA, fol ic wing main line railroads and highways up toe franuoe. liat. If true, is extremely interesting, indicating that the reds are push ing right on up the Danube val ley to cut the Germans off from the Hitler hideout in the south ern mountains. . The flurry in Italy doesn't Mem to amount to much yet. A NEW decree has been Issued by Hitler, ordering nazi par ty leaders to give up their local political jobs. London interprets the decree as a scheme to enable the oazi leaden to get out, leav ing the non-nazis holding the bag also as the foundation for a propaganda olaim in the future that it was the German civilians who surrendered shamefully while the nazis carried on the holy war singleianded.
