IT 1 STATION The two navy nurses on duty at the Klamath naval air station, this week were promoted in rank. Marie J. Rotondo was ad vanced from the rank of lieu tenant, junior grade, (NC), to that of lieutenant, senior grade, and Marcelle V. Lash from en sign to the rank of lieutenant, Junior grade, (NC). Lt. Rotondo is a resident of Providence, R. I., and reported to the Klamath naval air station last July, from hospital duty in the South Pacific, Lt. 0g Lash Is a San Franciscan, and prior to reporting to NAS, was at the naval hospital In Oakland, Juveniles Picked Up in Redding Redding, Calif,, city police picked up two Klamath Falls' youngsters, 14 and 15-year-old boys, Saturday night and con tacted County Juvenile Officer Harold Hendrickson, seeking dis position of the pair. Both boys were in a drunken condition at the time they were apprehended, Hendrickson was advised. Arrangements have been made to send the 14-year-old boy back to Klamath Falls on the bus, the mother and step, father of the other boy approv ing his going on to Oakland to Join his father. The other nine children at home at the time ran to safety, but small Dennis Collopy hid under a bed. His body was found three hours later.
