On Friday, March 2, the home making committee met in the hall at 12:30 for a potluck luncheon and business 'meeting. Nineteen attended, and the committee chairman, Maude Ser gent, was in charge. Roberts of the Marine Barracks, who left Wednes day morning for duty at Mare Island, California. Davis were hosts at cocktaila and dinner at their home on Arthur street. Thirty guests wero : . . ., ; invited to the affair. Couple Wed On Friday evening. March 2. Peggy Louise Batman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. W. Batman of the Ashland route, became the bride of Corporal George Willis, USMC, son of Georee Willis of Indianapolis, Indiana. Mrs. wims was given in mar riage by her father in the pres ence of relatives and close friends, and the ceremony was performed by the Reverend Fields of the Bible Baptist church,' in his study on Wiard street. Annual Dance Saturday, March 17, has been, slated as the date for the annual St. Patrick's dance given by the Elk's lodge. The dance will open with the cocktail hour at 7:30 and tables, table service and hors d'oeuvres will be available in the main lobby and . upstairs lounge. Dancing will be enjoyed from nine to twelve, with music furnished by the marine band. The committee in charge of ar rangements includes Mr. and Mrs. William Van Buskirk, Mr. and Mrs. Glen Inman, Mr. and Mrs. Murel Long, Mr. and Mrs. Jack O'Connor and Mr. and Mrs, A. D. Addison. Library Club Will See Play Monday : Members of the Klamath Falls Woman's Library club are looking forward to the play which will' be presented for their enjoyment . next Monday afternoon at the Little Theatre off Mon Claire, when the drama group of the American Association of University Women appear in "The Exchange."
