A 1040 graduate of Lakevicw,
Ore., high school, Ryser was
engaged in lumbering for the
Ewauna Box company, Klamath
Falls, when he Joined the AAF,
Oct. 31, 1940, at McCord Field,
Wash. Ho arrived overseas Feb.
13, 1944.
He and his brother, Sgt. Lloyd
H. Ryser, met in Rome while
both were on passes to that
